Our bananas
Targban began as a small operation with just 40 boxes of bananas imported from Berlin’s Großmarkt. Since then, we have grown to become Poland’s premier importer, ripener, and distributor of premium and organic bananas.

With over three decades of experience in the industry, we are proud to operate two state-of-the-art ripening centers with a total of 70 specialized chambers. Each week, we supply our customers with more than 70,000 cartons of the freshest and highest quality bananas. Sourcing
Quality
Quality is central to our success. Therefore we source only the best fruit from the best plantations. Bananas are extremely sensitive to bruising, as well as to low or high temperatures. Handling them requires from us a lot of skill and attention. Finally, our fruit is regularly and at random laboratory tested for pesticide levels.
Ripening is our specialty
With over 20 years of experience, ripening is our specialty. Expert handling, as well as precisely planned logistics are also important factors affecting the fruits final quality. Perfectly prepared for sale, the fruit is sweet, has perfect hardness, evenly colored peel and longer retains its freshness.
Catalina® brand
We label our best fruit with our own Catalina® brand. The trademark is known for its consistent, high quality as well as product variety. We offer premium, bio, baby, red bananas, as well as CO2 neutral fruit for which we offset the carbon footprint created in the supply chain.
