We source our produce directly from more than 35 countries. Some of our producers have been working with us for almost 20 years.
We focus on bananas, citrus, grapes, kiwis, pineapples as well as some vegetables.
Established in 1990 in Warsaw, we continue to operate as a family-owned company. Our core activities are import and effective distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables from around the world, as well as banana ripening and provision of related services.
We cooperate with the finest producers from Europe, Central and South America, South Africa, North Africa and the Far East. Our customers include a wide variety of retailers both in Poland and in Europe, as well as leading wholesalers.
In Poland, as communism falls, Krzysztof Bury imports the first batch of bananas from Berlin.
Bury and Company is established with the objective of conducting wholesale banana sales.
There is a systematic increase in sales at the fruit and vegetable market “Okęcie” in Warsaw.
We change our company name to Targban.
The commercial offer is expanded. The distribution of citrus fruits, grapes and kiwi begins.
The second branch of the company is launched at the newly opened Warsaw Agricultural and Food Wholesale Market in Bronisze.
A warehouse and banana ripening facility are inaugurated in Płochocin, near Ożarów, with the sales office being relocated to this newly opened complex.
Establishing cooperation with retail chains.
Obtaining the ISO 9001 and HACCP certificate.
A new warehouse, along with the company’s headquarters, are inaugurated in Bronisze.
Introduction of our own brand – Catalina®. Only the highest quality bananas and other fruit are distributed under the brand.
TBX Logistics is founded – subsidiary company offering transport services in Europe.
